I've heard that there is a jungle-adventure type movie in which an African actor's bit part was to run up to the hero and say something in Swahili. When he asked for a line, the director said, meh, whatever. African audiences loved it when they heard, "They're not paying me enough to do this."

Of course conservative young men go there. The Orthodox Church preaches and practices patriarchy, in family and society. The form might not be quite as brutal as some modern secular or evangelical groups teach, but it's still toxic.
