Not to be that wellness girl, but as the increasingly terrifying war of annihilation on trans people and many other communities continues, it is absolutely essential that we continue to practice the skills of spiritual & emotional resilience, if only to keep from turning on one another.

i’ve been working on this #SoSummer shirt for longer than i’d like to admit. last night i finally seamed the shoulders+ wove in ends. i stretched a few stitches when picking up for the collar but i’m assuming i can strategically weave in ends + block. sometimes you just need to MOVE ON, yknow?

current read: BACK IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING by eva crocker. i love a book that captures a moment of time in a person’s life- this one feels particularly vivid to me bc i am also a millennial canadian queer who moved to montreal at one point.

one of the greatest joys of 2024 has been starting to host fibre events. every time i’m sitting in a group that’s equal parts 55+ year old ladies and queers i feel like i’ve found my people.
