Yep. I hate how medicine treats both ends of the weight spectrum. On one end, it’s blame and dismissal. On the end my 95 pounds occupy, it’s the assumption of health and also dismissal.

It becomes actually painful, to the point of synesthesia. I can feel a flickering fluorescent light or a high pitched fan in specific spots where my additional physical disabilities hit hardest (Ehlers Danlos, spinal fusions, etc).

Thanks for all the good thoughts, because we had a great event! We had 105 members of the public in attendance, plus all our volunteers and Indivisible members! There were so many conversations happening, so much that over a dozen of us extended the four hours at the restaurant next door’s patio.
