happy #BisexualVisibilityDay! to celebrate I'd like to share an illustration inspired by a song a former roommate of mine wrote & produced 💖💜💙 here's to all the joy and connection I have found over the years—and also the time my best friend told me "Rachel, you don't need statistics to be bisexual."

hi! I'm Rachel, and I LOVE watercolors, floofy cloud shapes, & fairytales! my main focus is on creating magical kidlit illustrations.

I have a lot of WIP illustrations I'm working to finish so I can post some new things, but in the meantime, here's some old favorites from the portfolio✨

days 3 & 4! i've also started painting day 3 because i loved how it turned out so much.

my day job is entering its slow season, so there's been a lot of downtime—so i've started a series of what i call "workadoodles," which is a thinly-veiled boredom activity disguised as me saying i want to "draw more."

we'll see what i come up with today!

my watercolor palette collection is almost cooler than my actual watercolor paintings. my moon palettes by Sylvan Clayworks are my all-time favs!!

it took a minute to decide what to share because I have SO many WIPs and most of my finished illustrations are over a year old at this point (thanks, art school burnout!), but here are a few that I'm still quite proud of ✨

you know what, what the heck, we're posting now!

i dubbed this one "Space Race" and ngl it's how it felt trying to get onto this website & escape from the other one. crammed into a tiny little space navigating a very confusing, crowded process (although i think this character is having more fun)
