On this Thanksgiving eve, my two tips for a superior pecan pie:
-Don’t lay the pecans in an artistic design on top. Mix them into the filling. They rise to the top while baking and get beautifully caramelised.
-You need karo syrup. Don’t try to sub golden or maple; it’ll be sickly.
