This happened to us last year -- lawn mower broke, neighbor offered to mow it for us. But I kind of loved our tall fluffy grass!

I've revisited it a few times, especially the month. In some ways we dodged a bullet 2016-2020, and even that seems wrong to say given all the unnecessary covid deaths. But now? It's scary to see institutions faltering.

My now-8yr old kid loves the Magic Treehouse books, Dog Man graphic novels, and First Cat in Space. He also started the Boxcar Children series. The Wild Robot is lovely for that age, too.

I'm fully recovered except for a right eye that gets lazy when I'm tired.
