Thank you for fighting for this. The local food shelf I volunteer at saw record breaking numbers yesterday. We served 300 households total that day alone. Not individuals. HOUSEHOLDS. Busiest day I've ever seen. People are scared and it's heartbreaking.

As a conservative evangelical you have to suppress a certain amount of your empathy. It's the only way to be okay with your non-believing friends/family/neighbors/etc being tortured for eternity by your "just and loving" God. This realization is a big part of why I left.
