This path-to-a-pipeline MOU between Alberta and the federal government just keeps getting worse.

Luckily @karlamarx1917.bsky.social and @emilylowan.bsky.social joined me for a much-needed palate cleanser!

Here’s a taste:

David Cochrane asks about the fact that it would’ve been impossible for the coastal First Nations to travel from their communities to meet the feds on the timeline the govt offered.

“It’s called Zoom,” Natural Resources Minister Tim Hodgson responds.

Jesus CHRIST.

Tonight, I watched the NDP leadership contestants face off in their first debate of the race!

It was mostly a competition to see who could agree with one another more, but with a twist: they had to speak some French.

Here’s how that went:

Carney just signed a deal with Alberta that lays out conditions for a new oil pipeline.

In doing this, he managed to piss off one of his own cabinet ministers (who promptly resigned), coastal First Nations, the B.C. government, the Green Party and the Bloc Québécois.

But uh, here's what he got:

Carney to reporters: there won’t be a pipeline without a private investor.

Carney to the chamber of commerce: here are all the ways we’re bending over backwards to attract a private investor:

A bunch of white nationalists donned their little costumes, stood on a London, Ontario overpass and demanded to be taken seriously.

Of course, this was Second Sons Canada, Diagolon's more militant arm.

I spoke with extremism experts about what they hope to accomplish with these temper tantrums:

Two men who occupy prominent positions in Canada’s media landscape just travelled to Israel, where they received a briefing from the Israeli government.

Yeah. What are journalism ethics anyway?

Those men were TVO’s Steve Paikin and Global News’ Ben Mulroney:

Several outlets are reporting Prime Minister Mark Carney and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith are going to sign a deal this week that includes a path to a northwest B.C. oil pipeline.

But why would Carney reward Smith with this gift just days after her nuclear attack on trans kids' lives?

Before I even clicked the video to see the context in which Carney responded “who cares” to a reporter asking when he last spoke with Trump, I knew it would a female reporter who asked the question.

Why? Because Carney is consistently more short with and rude to female reporters.

Sure enough:

Do you know how to speak the language of the creepy little far-right freaks on the internet?

Of course not. You have friends. So why would you?

But luckily for you, I do not have a life, so I'm fluent. Today, I’m your Rosetta Stone.

This is part two -- and we're doing a White House edition:

🚨NEWS: NDP Leadership Candidate Tony McQuail had a message for his donors on my podcast today:

Don't send him any more money, for now.

Send it to fellow candidate @votetanille.bsky.social until she raises enough to survive the next cut off.

Watch as Tony made news (and almost made us all cry):

Alberta's government is engaged in something I can only describe as psychopathic politics.

What else do you call it when a government so set on pushing ahead with policies that WILL cause more trans youth to try to leave us?

When they'll trample on the charter to hurt these kids?

It's disturbing:

Another bombshell new report just dropped exposing Canada’s complicity in Israel’s genocide on Gaza.

The authors found hundreds of shipments from Canadian military manufacturers to the U.S. weapons factories that manufacture Israel’s warplanes, bombs and artillery shells.

That’s not all:
