I've been in and out of faith for a while, and music feels like the thread that keeps bringing me back. It is almost like it is woven through our neurons, connecting us to not only ourselves, but to others and the infinite. It's no wonder that so much religious ecstasy is tied to music and singing.

I love that they didn't put subtitles over the song she sang. We don't know the words she sang, but we knew what she was singing about. Beautiful.
