JD Kirk’s DCI Logan series is excellent. Plenty in the back catalogue and unusually for a long series there are no duds in there. They are also funny!

I think he’s doing a pretty good job, building an efficient team, which is what’s needed for promotion. He will always suffer from the Bielsa comparisons, which seem unfair but inevitable. If he can get us promoted we (the fan base) might start to move on!

I got to a point where I didn’t like posting or replying because there was always some shouty arsehole waiting to jump in. X feels generally quite combative and not much fun, so I’m enjoying this. Let’s see how things shape up post Swansea away…!

I enjoy Lucy Foley too. I’ve been reading Jane Casey recently, but Scottish crime fiction is my go-to. JD Kirk and Neal Lancaster especially. I’m a big fan of audio books and the Scottish narration tends to be great!
