I like to think of it as the "implementation" side. You can talk all the seemingly good policy you want, but until you get folks who can execute on the vision, your stuff is DOA.

Idk if this is bc we have such a large universe of supporters to mobilize or if they have been very good about refreshing lists or what, but it makes for a much better volunteer experience and feels more impactful.

I think a lot of it is by design. People love to project all sorts of things on us so we can always be ready as a scapegoat. This cycle especially has made me want to scream.
