My election day tradition (as an early mail in voter) is to ignore everything everyone is saying until it's all called and put up Christmas. This year I'm melding it with Halloween even more than usual!

In 2014 I did a photo project that I paired with quotes, I have been going through and putting all the quotes in one place as a distraction and they're so good! Words are magical.

I made a rock fact rock out of Sculpey, but this is the only picture of it 😂 I also made the handle for my kettle. And Shaun has his hair all pointy and hat-shaped under the hat, authenticity!

Barely gotten anything done, an hour later. Three strands of lights up. Someone else has done some good decorating though.

It rained the first few days of October so I couldn't put outdoor decor up yet but now it is time, I must gumption. Posting about progress usually helps me so, timers and cords and powerstrip box gathered. I miss having a covered porch! I organized and tested the lights yesterday.

Trying to think of my to do list as one thing at a time. When I woke up the only thing on my list was yoga. I did that, so now the only thing on my list is making breakfast. Deck door is open, breezes coming in, I can see a little section of a tree starting to pale green on its way to yellow.
