Apart from medicine, I keep hitting the road—hiking, climbing, traveling from Anguilla to NYC. Over seventy places have shown me that it’s not landmarks but people who stay in memory: brief talks, quiet help, unrecorded kindness. The world isn’t perfect, but it’s kinder than we imagine.
He set out to walk around the world. After 27 years, his quest is nearly over.
Karl Bushby is expected to finish his globe-walking expedition by September 2026.
