All in all, though, it was an incredible trip. If I had it to again, I would've allocated 2 full days to Arches National Monument and only 1 in Zion, but it's a minor complaint. I know politics sucks right now, but America is still incredibly beautiful. Get out and see it if you get the chance!

None of this is Zion NPS's fault. The park is just over visited, which is kind of crazy since there's so much other amazing stuff to do in that area. We actually skipped our second day at Zion and went to Bryce Canyon instead, which was every bit as pretty and MUCH less crowded.

I also wasn't expecting to like the drive on I-70 so much, but going into Utah takes you through Glenwood Canyon and the San Rafael Reef, which was phenomenal. I swear we passed canyons as big as the grand canyon that I'd never heard of. It was SOOO COOOL!
