Until yesterday I forgot I had so many old bird pictures sitting in lightroom that I never posted... Anyway, here is a pine siskin from earlier in the year, taking a short break from eating all birdseed in existence.

Two large brown mushrooms grow out of bed of green moss fronds. The pale beige gills of the mushrooms can easily be seen as the mushrooms are late in their life cycle and the underside of the caps are beginning to curl upward.
