Florida is the literal entrance port of arthropod invasion in our country. Constant and consistent insect sampling is so important to stay on top of the influx.

Great talk by Jose Martinez on the importance of tackling cryptic species for better biodiversity estimates. The looming problem of nearctic Ophion cryptic species continues to haunt me.....maybe time to revisit?
