Hard agree - all a function of the fact that our media system is conditioned to talk only about the small p- politics of our political system, not the actual progressive and ambitious policy introduced by this government. We really need to start demanding more

Until we realise that this utopian, problem-free existence will never come, we're just living a 'provisional life.' Kind of mind blowing.

A day's sheep drive is generally accepted - not sure by whom - to be a radius of around six and two-thirds miles. But the proposed new site for Billingsgate and Smithfield in Dagenham Dock would have been around four miles from Romford Market (uh-oh)

That Charter apparently includes a clause banning any other market from being set up within 'a day's sheep drive' of Romford Market
