oh no i am addicted to this roman water. it is seriously the best water i have ever had even including smoky mountain spring water which i grew up with? i cannot go very long without it so oh no gotta move to rome at some point i guess? This is a thirst trap for real.

the multitude of designs on fishing lures is incredible! but i fear for the feet, even with river shoes on - that encounter them unknowingly. ouch! I’m just out here in these smoky mountains collecting lures from that river bed. don’t litter the river yall…

soon as we pulled into winston salem it started thunder storming. usually would drive through asheville but that route is flooded out so we went knox-bristol-charlotte-winston salem. now our hotel lobby is taking on a little water. oh climate change!

a couple just walked through Arden in Portland and the staff lined up and cheered. The man raised his cane and let everyone know it’s a 97th birthday party as they walked on by. So sweet!

i made a tokyo turnip salad yesterday - highly recommend! thinly slice turnips, add parsley, red pepper flakes, black pepper, salt, balsamic v, olive oil, avocado. so good!

fun thing: a friend is in town from tennessee and we went to the photo booth museum, having a frickin ball! the owner heard us and said he had to come out b/c he knew we were from the south. he’s from knoxville too yess…pleased to meet you Doug!

today i went to a little known musee by a river. its called the louvre and i think more people should hear about it!!! im doing my part here. everyone knows about DEYROLLE though on rue de bac?! the cabinet of curiosities? they dont allow photos :( but since you already know about it, that’s ok!

SO EXCITED HAD TO POST TWOTIMES HAHA also the D&G exhibit seared my italian soul through my senses and brought my ancestors back to me, felt like a big deal.
