Hope it’s gone well!

I love this. I used to get so sick of having to do funding applications to show exciting innovation when all we wanted was money to keep the lights on but no the money went to flashy websites that did precisely nothing.

I did so badly I’m not even going to say, but I found last week’s and I did much better on that!

Oh yes I stumbled upon it when on a plane not knowing anything about it and really enjoyed it. Love a bit of a time slip too.

Just as a postscript to that, it’s very hard to be Halloween-ish downunder in spring when it doesn’t get dark until 8.45pm at least and we have rampant spring growth rather than orange leaves and gloomy weather. 😈

My novel started its second life in North America! I couldn’t be there obviously but someone spotted it on release day face out in Barnes & Noble on Broadway so that made me smile. Also, I played haunted house sounds and scared unsuspecting children tonight.

Oh I love the sound of this! I also write about girls in bands for middlegrade. There’s a lot to critique in the music industry and doing through kids solving mysteries is a joy.

Is the media defending him though? I think this makes him look bad.

I saw a rich person saying he is already contributing to the tax system by paying 39% tax on his income. The fact that he didn’t seem to even count the first $180k or whatever is telling. He makes so much more than that, that the 39% clearly makes up most of it.
