Hand sanitiser will also be available & Dyson air handlers provided. NOTE: the SBC can't mandate masking or covid testing (but... let's look out for each other).

VENUE: The venue for our event is now the Level 5 Function Room. There are two lifts available. It is a bright room so for the light sensitive we'll have most of the blinds drawn. Cushions and the like are available for comfort and if anyone needs to lie down. It is a relaxed performance!

That was fab! Lovely to hear snippets from Janet Frame, Aaron Kent, Karl Knights, Rachael Johnson, Masaoka Shiki, and poems by Therese Estacion and Ekiwah Adler-Beléndez, and of course Daniel's poem, the beautiful. Classic!

The poems in the anthology bear witness to conflict, disinformation and discrimination, as well as celebrating the importance of creativity, solidarity and empathy at a time when discussions of these topics are more urgent than ever.
