Happy for him. He looks like a nice guy and never managed to replicate his first season. I guess another victim of that rear Michelin tyre.

That rear swingarm seems to push the rear sticky tyre much harder than in Ducati! Or maybe that carbon frame is adding stiffness, who knows!? And it's almost Christmas FFS!

He entered MotoGP with such an intense riding style that I was afraid that after that Portimao crash he would change. Fortunately, he didn't change his riding style and matured into the great rider that he is. Sometimes that isn't enough when you have an even more fantastic Marc in the mix.

What stood out in my view was his ability to win a poll position, then lead the race, fall behind, and get back on top with such precision in planning the race. He is so well aware of the situation, his gear, tyres, machine, and opponents. He really is special!

He used his head for the whole season till now. He can be proud of himself whatever the outcome.
