Very sorry for your loss. I can relate as I lost both parents and my last surviving grandparent in a 13 week span when I was 45. Took me to a place mentally that was tough to escape. Take time for yourself. Talk when you need to.

I left for California after he went back to sleep. I got a phone call that night about midnight, my brother telling me he had passed in his sleep. He hadn’t woken up after I left that morning.
There isn’t a day I don’t think about him and wonder. Love you Pops, miss you even more
