The season-opening Formula E race in Sao Paulo has been red-flagged after a huge crash for Pepe Marti, who hit Nico Mueller and Antonio Felix da Costa during a full course yellow. He was able to climb out of the cockpit unaided.

Following yesterday's practice sessions Pirelli has increased the minimum pressures for front tyres by 1psi. Front slick tyres must now be set to a minimum of 24.5psi.

In Losail, where Ferrari claimed high tyre pressures upset their cars handling, the same limit was 29psi.

The required levels are now (front / rear):

Slick: 29psi / 24.5psi
Intermediate: 28.5psi / 25.5psi
Wet: 25.5psi / 22.5psi
