Sunday morning R/C club, we did a little boating, and some monster trucking. Better than screen time. My 5 yo is getting pretty decent at driving.

All this feels stupid, but distracting myself putting this car back together. Also trying to figure how I can get the throttle linkages sent to me, since you know global shipping is paused.

2016 Outback rear wheel bearing are as bad to do as the internet tells you. Ended up just buying a whole new very expensive knuckle. This car has 40k New England miles. Also needing a wheel bearing at 40k is insane.

My toxic trait is fixing other people’s hack wiring jobs. Once I have the car running I’ll dig into what’s hiding under the dash.

Made some progress? But now I have to take this all back to the flywheel, it appears the pilot bearing is somehow wrong. I cannot get the transmission to seat.
