been thinking about betelgeuse
a discord message i wrote: lately ive been thinking of betelgeuse in more spiritual terms. heres a star which has bloated to a volume it cannot sustain in the long term, and a violent explosion is imminent. heres a star which got ejected from its original place and is now hurtling in a different direction until it meets its end. heres a star which may already not be around anymore, the light of its demise just hasnt reached us yet. heres a star about to burst, but for now its still here. i think thats all kind of cute? no cute is not the right word. but it is endearing in a really weird way. am i forming a parasocial connection with the edgelord roaring ball of fire? absolutely

Actual Jump Sesh #3 ive been slacking lately so today was more of a focus on tech than just tryna grind it out. it worked well! got a jump that was either 57 or 58cm, and felt really good on the approach to do next: - use the weights i have now 💥 - start alternating low-impact and high-impact workouts so i can train more without killing my knees and back - start doing workouts outside, so i can sprint more easily

Jump Sesh #2 got 57cm pretty quickly! then tried to learn better approach technique, to little success. i dont think i was able to give it my all on any of the jumps to do next: - get heavier weights so i can do more strength shit - another jump sesh, hopefully next week. i wanna get technique down asap the real effect of the jump training so far is that i feel way healthier

dunk grind thread hopefully
discord message i wrote about my dunk training Jump Sesh #1 today -sprints (6 times, until reaching max speed only) -two step approach jumps (until exhaustion, like 30 jumps total) -MAX VERTICAL: ~52-54cm (~40cm until dunk-ready) to do next: -keep up with normal routine, doing jump sessions every 4th time -get good enough at max approach technique to actually use it lmao
