I have a lot of problems with Hazbin Hotel, and then I do mean an EXTREMELY HUGE LOT, but eh, whatever.

It looks pretty.
Some characters like Alastor and Husk are alright.

And others are most likely gonna make hours upon hours of deep dive video essays explaining its problems, so why bother? :^)

The environments in those were based of off real life locations yes, but Adventure and Unleashed both had EXTREMELY stylized artstyles that were simply not just "grounded".

Frontiers pop in is indeed noticeable, but that has nothing to do with the artstyle itself, which is not very coherent imo.

You can have good looking characters that stick out of good looking environments, and it has been done before with Pokémon.

Heck, Let's go is probably the best attempt yet with this on the Switch, and that was the first one on the console.

The Pokémon do not really mesh with these "serviceable" worlds and stick out in a bad way, making it all feel incoherent and not all to appealing in my view.

Frontiers might have "serviceable" environments, but does that make for a coherent whole/style with Sonic just sticking out of there?

Neither are graphically pushing for the hardware yes, and Game freak do indeed put their focus on the Pokémon first and foremost as that is the core of the games.

But the artistic difference is apparent and I simply do not agree with your "Pokémon stand out more which is the aesthetic" argument.

The inclusion of the Arceus games in my post were for comparison's sake and, from my perspective, I thought that the side by side juxtaposition of them was obvious.

The older ones have way more vivid colors and style to them while the newer ones are fairly drab and bland color and art wise.

Almost been a year since I completely left Twitter and made this into one of my main platforms and I ain’t regretting it in the slightest!

It ain’t perfect here, social media will always remain social media after all, but it is a god send compared to the other hell hole rn.

Am gonna have to try and strive towards doing casual streams out of the blue, once I got some space, despite how bizarre and random of a time they might appear at.

That is if I'm then recharged enough for it...
Man. Living takes time and energy.
