Playing the Ankh-Morpork board game for the first time in ages. Definitely one of the best board games ever designed, even without the Prattchett tie-in. It is no longer available, and copies are going for mad prices. This is the special edition with wooden pieces.

I tend to watch a YouTube vid, then see if there's anything in the 12 suggestions to watch next. I have noticed that the YouTube algorithm has started to make some bizarre, random, usually low viewcount suggestions for slot three, bottom left. Here's a couple just from today. I never risk a click 😁

Ok, this was a total cheat, a car was going past, so I took advantage to light up the foreground a little. I think the result was great though. Some insane aurora today across the country, some of the best in 20 years.

Aaaaand.... the downside to aurora chasing. Incredibly strong aurora activity recorded 3-8pm, so I headed out to a spot I thought might be good once it got dark. 2 hours of standing round in a field, nothing 😁, it had dropped to zero. I did find a potentially good N/NW view for future aurora.

You can ask for it 'wrapped' to take home, or 'open' to eat it immediately. Used to be old newspapers but that got banned when I was a kid. Now it's typically a sheet of greaseproof and a few layers of plain.
