Gentoo w/ TDE (EarlGrey colors) tried and failed to get Niri to work (Crash at dbus run) so I fell back to my second hopeful with TDE. oRC shines best at home on Gentoo and while it took days to get running this was really fun and the most indepth I've ever gone setting up a system.

Void Linux w/ MATE. My draw to Void was really just learning Runit which as it turns out I could stand to like it a great deal more,,,It's fast, like instant fast, but the symlinking just isn't as fun for me.
Runit and Void are cool, but like MATE just not a fit for me.
Cute seeing Gnome2 again tho.

Arch Linux w/ Plasma 6. I never got Arch going as a teen and I see why. Absolute tedium, why even set the time if it gets ignored or reset every second step?
Much more painful to set-up than any of the other systems I've done, but still fun and fun to see it going.

Alpine Linux w/ LXQT. It feels pretty good out of the box so I just pushed it around some. Alpine is a deceptively good desktop on top of the million specializations it's perfect at.

Still surprisingly playing with my BSD vm. I actually genuinely enjoy it. I was afraid BSD might infect me and I was right,,,I might have to install it baremetal at some point.
It, like Debian, is dangerously stable. I did break X with QXL but I just uninstalled it and rebooted and it was well.

It took a bit of work but honestly? The FreeBSD manual is insanely good like, almost mind reading at times the way it interjects with answers just as you start to ask why.
I'm glad I took the time, I could go over a lot of ways it feels obvious how things work or are done like the RC system.

atp I'm just playing games. Got FreeBSD setup on Cinnamon, no Spice package so it runs poorly in the virtual machine. Still, happy to see how strong it is as a desktop now like some things are buttery smooth even over Linux.

I still hate Gnome.
But, if I was forced to use it, I could live with it after some VERY forced theming and plugin abuse.

Hoyo is cooking stoned on this new content, all the story has been interesting and the scenes actually engaging. Still on act 1 of the AQ and I adore Lauma, and Columbina both WAY WAY more than I ever thought.

I can't believe how many interesting, gorgeous, or downright insane operating systems there have been. Commodore really made some all timers between Amiga, AROS, and Morph. I want to eat Morph (below) like an open-face CD player.
