Manorhamilton Senior Youth Theatre starts their Spring Term on Mon the 13th Jan. Co-directed by performer & storyteller Jay Ryan & playwright & theatre-maker @treasanealon.bsky.social, these weekly workshops are fun-filled & relaxed sessions that experiment with improvisation, script and character.

3400 was a one woman about abortion created and written by @treasanealon.bsky.social and directed by Sonia Norris in 2017 and performed at the Scene + Heard Festival in Smock Alley Theatre. It was performed in various locations in Sligo and Leitrim.

#BraveNewWorld was a verbatim, multi-media & interactive production about revenge porn and trolling.
Directed by Sonia Norris. Script compiled and written by @treasanealon.bsky.social. It was readapted in 2019, workshopped and presented as rehearsed reading in The Glens Art Centre.

In 2017 (for Culture Night) and in 2019 we did a performance of WB Yeats Stolen Child at Glencar Waterfall.

The first two photos are from 2017 (taken by Róisín Loughrey) and the second from 2019 (taken by Boruch Len).

We’re delighted that the Mountain created by the Coiníní Women’s Group in 2021 and funded by CreativeIrl for our Winter Windows display has found a new home with Winter Fest Manorhamilton! ❄️

Check it out in Goldens Window on the Main Street!
Fairy lights are attached to a ceiling and come down around a created mountain with little town shop fronts on it. The mountain is on a heap of white fluff meant to signify snow.

Following on the same vein - in 2018 @treasanealon.bsky.social adapted Peter Pan for performance in The Glens Art Centre.
For Cruinniú na nÓg we made it into an interactive activity filled piece outdoors where the audiences followed Hook as he looked for the crocodile that took his hand!

Our very first production (funded with nothing but blood, sweat and tears) was Welcome to Wonderland! (2016) in The Glens Art Centre.
The script was adapted from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by @treasanealon.bsky.social and directed by Sonia Norris.
