I only took up the sport in 2019, and have been playing consistently since 2022 (I’m 55) so I’m still very new to the scene.
What I can say about hockey culture is that it has bee incredibly kind and generous for a game with such a thuggish and fearsome reputation.

I think this sounds great and I’m looking forward to reading more.
