This is one of few times in history that a hurricane has prevented another from striking land. The binary Fujiwhara interaction between Humberto & Imelda will stall Imelda ~150 miles off SC coast, pulling the system out to sea. It's almost like Mother Nature is giving us a pass after Helene.
