West coast is absolute garbage. A few years ago I took an Amtrak from Monterey to Sacramento. It’s approx London to Exeter distance. It was a direct service and took over 7 hours for the 3 hour drive.

That was quite a thing when he turned to his kids and basically apologised for being an absent father.

I moved here 24 years ago. Every single time one of these happens my wife and I count our blessings. Our kids have had chats with their US cousins about how they’ve had to do active shooter drills and they just don’t understand why it’s allowed and we don’t have any answers for them.

At what level does vandalism become a felony?
About 10 years ago I realised I was enjoying films less and less. I worked it out that I was just too old to sit through movies longer than about 100 minutes.
…then I happily sat through Ben Hur at 3 1/2 hours and realised that I was just old period.

I’m 59 and just finished Assassin’s Creed: Shadows on my PS5 and go to more concerts in the last 5 years than I had in the last 30 years prior. Keep going matey!
