It is but assumptions about race and what place is “dark” vs “white” ain’t gonna stop anytime soon, one of the whitest probably most over privileged places near me got labelled a damn Muslim haven for having a nice ish mosque not garbed in barb wire ffs

Also not bothered by the religious undertones either; I’ve shifted formally to agnostic again so welp (honestly I think I always was, now it’s just spiritual and agnostic as opposed to atheist and spiritual)
