Wow! A big congratulations to you! Also thank you for your nicely written AOC blogs. I used to read them after solving a problem or when I got stuck on one.

Finally solved part-2 and in no way proud of my code!! The approach was to count the corners which equals to required sides count. Got the idea from reddit, but had to struggle to implement. Worst aoc day for me this year!!

That where part 2 comes in, solution with optimization, memoization to be specific! It took below 1 second to run 75 iteration! Really loved the time difference!

Solution for part 1 was the naivest I could come up with. With 25 iteration it completed on within 3 minutes, but with 75 iteration? I only let it run 2+ hours and still couldn't get me the output!!

Even though both parts are same, just require different number of iteration (25 and 75), I have derived and kept different solution for two parts.
