Yet another way to spy on everyone for the "just in case" that will likely happen through completely different methods than this.

Uneducated making quick decisions to silence the small percentage in an uproar. That's how Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes got censored and removed.

This has been ALL OVER my feeds today. I'm surprised it took this long but am sincerely wondering what the next year for Linux will look like because of this. Hopefully we see bigger shifts like 32bit architecture getting dropped as well.

I've sincerely been looking into doing something different when it comes to AI anything.... Not digging that BT is trying to spy on everyone and their devices. Eventually the advert model is going to have to go away.

Hmm....

- LibreOffice
- Betterbird
- AnyType
- Logseq
- @tuta.com stuff too

Honestly though, it sort of all boils down to a few other things as well and I'm always searching for additional things

I took the time to go in and actually read the blog post too, I was more reacting to the image in the post above. Things are ever-changing though and I'm seeing new browsers with different engines in alpha right now. I'm looking forward to seein ghow the WebKit browser for Linux ends up doing.

I'm actually surprised a few browsers I'm a big fan of and daily drive didn't make this list, however I also understand that mentioning them might be counter-intuitive

Sort of puts it into perspective that places like LinkedIn are no longer safe and a fair amount of personal data is being put on these sites in order for people to find work. A bit scary.... we can thank LinkedIn for selling itself to Microsoft

Def not a fan of how things are going with AI right now and companies just using data to train their models like people won't eventually wise up and ditch their products. Who knows though, the younger generation is so used to living inside a box, I doubt they'll take their privacy back
