Finding joy has been really difficult this last few months, but the thing that’s made me happy is building computers! I’ve built two this week, one being my first liquid/cooled system! I plan on fully moving over to Steam from Xbox (after leaving PlayStation a year ago), and this 5080 is amazing.

I also DJ’d for the first time in 10 years, started texting and calling my friends again, added more people to Steam, started playing nightly games with my buddies that I got to know from work, & I feel like I’m starting to finally rebuild some semblance of a social life. It’s scary. But I’m trying

A wee lass has joined the family! We haven’t named her yet, but we just call her The Baby. The wonderful @missesheather.bsky.social took care of this little lady and her sibling until a home was found & now this little one joins House R. I’m having a hard time not being next to this kitten already 😭

Tomorrow! My first DJ set in 10 years! I started live-streaming DJ sets and somehow the right person heard it. I’m….. absolutely excited…….. and terrified. What an annoying time to start getting Imposter Syndrome. I’m gonna do my best.

This beast of a machine (6 liquid/cooled 4090s and a Threadripper on a WRX90 board at work today. I love this stuff so damn much and I’m lucky to get to work with the things I already obsess over.

I’ve been sick for 6 days & now that I’m feeling better, I want to share that my little floofy kitty, Mochi, never left my side as I slept in my rocking chair for 5 days. These are all on different days. I got her when she was 2 months old, ex left her behind, & she’s become my heart and my bestie.
