R2-D2. This droid actually started life in 2015 as R2-A2 and then was repainted to become R2-D2. With wood, metal, resin and fiberglass he is a mismatch of building techniques. Went to Celebration and ECCC in 2015 and shared the stage with Weird Al in 2016.

R2-A2 (version 2): finished in 2016 this droid was styled after an R2 seen on Hoth. The droid on Hoth was an R2-D2 from ANH, so to get the right shade of orange I had to paint all the parts blue first. All metal and RC. 2 Celebrations, multiple RCCCs and Children hospital visits.
