this couldn’t even be him right now it could be another structure it could be just about anything.

While he is known as a “virus” he isn’t quite a virus at all, just named to be one

This is DX but more commonly known in the (my) story as The Red Virus, this virus inhabits in multiple DS cartridges (Sonic Classic Collection), so there is MULTIPLE versions of him EVERYWHERE.
