Truth. Just tell the f-ing truth. The rest is commentary.
It is fucking insane that we had a decade of people complaining about the dangers of cancel culture, and now literally hundreds of thousands of people are being purged from government jobs for ideological reasons, but that is not cancel culture.

This country is becoming unrecognizable. What we’re seeing is state-funded fear. We’ve warned people: keep filming, go live on social media so these moments are documented and shared. This wasn’t a case involving masked ICE agents—but that’s happening too.

A serial liar with a mighty propaganda machine working overtime for him has convinced half the country that up is down, that honor is venality, and that integrity is just a ruse for suckers who believe all that garbage from our schoolbooks.
Trump’s A.G. Just Did Something So Corrupt She Should Be Fired Already
Note to right-wing “media” and all you fantasists who believe them: This is what judicial sleaze actually looks like.

Musk's Fair Election Fund effort to root out and publicize election fraud? Turns out in spite of hefty reward no one found any.
The con continues.

Seems like physical access should be predicated on unambiguous authority. Is there no protocol for this? Why are lawsuits the only recourse?
February 10, 2025 at 2:37 PM
Please explain why the oversight personnel in the departments Musk and his minions have taken action against didn't simply deny access in the first place. If Trumps's executive orders are even questionable, why weren't Musk et al barred in the first place?

A long-running study out of England has found that, as you use fertilizers on landscapes, you lose pollinators.

The mechanism is that fertilizers encourages grasses, which outcompete insect pollinated flowers and reduce floral resources. 🌿🌱🧪🌎
High fertiliser use halves numbers of pollinators, world’s longest study finds
Even average use of nitrogen fertilisers cut flower numbers fivefold and halved pollinating insects

Hell yeah. Hold the line. This is what we need people to do.

Slow things down, don’t comply in advance so the courts have time to stop them. It’s starting to work.
Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

New — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) was told this week by DOJ that they'd lose their funding if the org didn't remove any mentions of LGBTQIA+ issues from their public materials, I've learned. Staff were told they need to deadname trans kids in their reports to comply.

The DTS contains tables showing the daily cash and debt operations of the U.S. Treasury. Includes operating cash balance, deposits and withdrawals of cash, public debt transactions, federal tax deposits, income tax refunds issued, short-term cash investments, and issues and redemptions of securities
New and important: we built a federal expenditure tracker. All expenditure line items that are available on the Daily Treasury Statement.

USAID was zeroed out on 1/28 and has been at zero ever since.

@cantwell.senate.gov care to explain? You like non-government actors having control over these systems?

Is it time for a new senator for Washington? We won’t forget your abdication of responsibility.
