There are so many horror stories of illegal over-reach in the US right now that you could almost overlook this horror. It's no over-reaction to say this will end US science as we know it. This administration is astonishingly hostile to so much knowledge: universities, libraries, science, ... 🧪
Here’s a story with some numbers. The proposed cuts are unfathomable: a 60% reduction to NSF would be the end of American science as we know it.
