I'm not an expert, but at work we use the TanStack library to cache requests and manage cache invalidation.

This is a good start. Another one that is more a consequence of using URLs, is that the browser will natively cache HTTP responses based on response headers.

I'm not sure what interests I ticked when I set this up but I've had to scroll through a sea of poorly drawn anime to get to some semblance of a tribe.

Far from being a negative I'm actually finding the experience to be quite enlightening! It's giving me some drive to try out some new tools to see how the other half lives 😁

I'm fairly new to this industry (~2.5 years). I work primarily with React and Typescript and it is just now starting to dawn on me how many native browser features these JavaScript SPAs have broken (caching, navigation etc.)

I'm amazed at their growth, each day there seems to be noticeable change. How long until flight do you think? A few more weeks?

They're not so downy anymore, looking quite mature at last glance. I even saw one of them flapping its wings quite energetically. Maybe preparing to fledge soon?
