My beloved dog, Love, has been diagnosed with kidney disease, mitral valve insufficiency, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, patellar luxation, inflammation, and corneal degeneration, and now she has also developed dementia, so I will be taking a break from posting for a while.

The hospital I have been visiting for decades for my chronic illness suddenly closed down, and Love, who suffers from a rare disease with no clinical cases. Her primary doctor, who had been treating her all along, suddenly decided to leave the hospital.
