These pumpkins/gourds came up by themselves. We threw a few old pumpkins from the store into the garden last year and the seeds came up this spring.

I went on vacation and came back with 11 plants and some kind of virus. It was worth it.

This is what a sun dog looks like. It’s the glowing smudge on the right.

That is so weird, I was just googling why my mini tradescantias are so leggy, and then I opened BlueSky and see this! They act like they want to touch the grow light. I put them here because they were pressing themselves against the window like they were desperate.

I spent about 45 minutes picking raspberries this evening before the mosquitoes woke up. I think I got about 3 pounds. The second pic shows a “path” that is barely there. The bowl was about twice that full when I was done.

Prickly pear flower with solar light and yellow ground cover. My cactus garden is doing pretty well this spring.

This chocolate is amazing. It’s dairy free and has a slight coconut flavor.

40 seconds of a severe thunderstorm in the making. There’s a robin singing. He doesn’t mind.

Record Store Day deja vu. I went to the same coffee shop and got the same sandwich as Black Friday, only there was actually a line out the door at the record store this time. Only six people, but still. I bought the only copy of Passengers.

I’ve been wanting a ZZ plant. Home Depot had regular ones for $9 so I bought one. Then I went to Walmart and they had the Raven ZZ with black leaves. So I bought that too. I repotted them both when I got home. Now I have two ZZ plants. Oh well. Their roots look exactly like potatoes, btw.

I just made puppy chow for dessert. And had to try a sample. And then another undisclosed number of samples.
