6. A huge factor that kept me going was the work of other people. It's fascinating to see how different people interpret a prompt and tell their stories through their collages!

5. Having prompts, even when I didn't care for some, helped me focus (and also second guess, explore, feel frustrated, but then come back to it).

4. Which again made me understand and appreciate the hard work of people working primarily analogue and their ability to work with the images as they are, making them into interesting compositions.

3. That being said, my analogue elements were pretty much abstract. For the most part I worked with digital collage: I enjoy the freedom to manipulate images (scale them, layer them, etc.) to fit in the composition.

2. For a few pieces, I incorporated analogue elements. Those were particularly fun in the creation process!

I may try to make the 28th, but it's a busy couple days ahead so we'll see. I enjoy your work though! And it's just super encouraging to see people staying with it even if it's at our own pace!
