but as an artist, i feel like i am left behind, and forgotten

i recently joined a private discord server with a lot of activity, a lot of which is reposting art without source and/or going awooga at pretty art of women, and i wonder if the artists know that they are loved.....................i understand the desire for privacy more than ever these days..

a friend told me that her friend (who i do not know) loves it when i draw my gf. they get so excited about it in private. im honoured but also -- i had no freaking clue!!!!! these thoughts wouldve been lost to the ether

and it's also why places feel so quiet these days!! people dont fucking comment on art anymore! they scream about it to their friends in a priv discord server and the artist doesnt even know that theyre being appreciated
