growing up a mexican household, i’m in the same boat too. it’s been difficult to build enough protein into meals on a vegan-ish diet. i have tried other meat substitutes (crumbled tofu, soy curls) but there’s still work to be had on getting it to a good enough place to enjoy.

GEoD is such a philosophical book. The book is entirely Frank putting his beliefs and thoughts into pretty direct writing. I don’t disagree when some folks aren’t the biggest fan. I would definitely be curious to hear thoughts on Hunters when you get around to it.

i haven’t reread Chapterhouse in a min but it was definitely a good time. i just reread GEoD and i'm rereading Heretics rn. i still think Dune and GEoD are superb.

i am a purist and will not read an of Brian’s books. he has no idea what Frank wanted to do with the story.
