IMO I think the point of him was up until the last season, he *is* all bad. And that’s important to his character arc. But yeah, I also really wish it didn’t happen. Idk what other catalyst it could have been to drive him to the point where he goes on that uhm soul journey though.

Merely my opinion, I might not be! I feel very strongly about spikes character arc so I hold to that opinion with a similar strength. I appreciate your perspective regardless of whether I’m right or not.

I agree his ‘legacy’ is tainted but you definitely missed the point of all his actions after and what happens to him if you think the show moved on from that…. It repeatedly comes up all the way into the spinoff.
