i don't know why they didn't just hop on the bandwagon and have an official policy about how to use tiktok in a governmental capacity.

here's an example. you can see i have bsky.app on trusted. i didn't know about the other two, so i'll make them trusted too as i have no weird feelings about bluesky (for now :D)

to your credit this strategy is only appealing if, like me, you think too many websites have too much free reign on where they can pull in JS code that executes on your browser.

after a while you can see that you generally need less than half the domains that are trying to run javascript on most websites. 3/3

i likely defeat the purpose by doing any browsing at all on my phone as i cannot employ the same strategy there :D

this works great in conjunction with multiple browsers or multiple browser profiles. i use firefox as my main browser and a chrome profile for facebook and ONLY facebook. it's surprising how many sites run tracking from facebook and places they ought not to. 2/
