Want some war stories with horror elements? Fehervari does make a compelling case, leaving some stories very open ended. A joy to read, but better take it in strides.

Just finished this one and all I can say: eh. It is interesting since it finally introduces us to the Votann, but that is it.

I just finished book 2 of the series, but so far I have been enjoying the series a lot. The new culture the characters face is interesting too.
