i finished RULE OF ROSE. game rules despite like maybe 2-3 Very bad combat moments (Fuck Da Mermaid) this game's reputation as super unpleasant to play is overblown! excellent visual direction and soundtrack and a story that honestly for me is maybe as good as psychological video game horror gets??

i am playing HOMEBODY. you know. you wouldn't expect "horror game published by Game Grumps" to be good but.. it's actually good! essentially Time Loop Clock Tower With A Mental Health Narrative And Nancy Drew Puzzles and it works way way way better than i expected from that spiel

i am playing HOMEBODY. you know. you wouldn't expect "horror game published by Game Grumps" to be good but.. it's actually good! essentially Time Loop Clock Tower With A Mental Health Narrative And Nancy Drew Puzzles and it works way way way better than i expected from that spiel

finished SILENT HILL 3. still my least favorite out of the first 3 but it's a high bar, i think, and it still stands out as a Very Good Video Game. still think it's insane that you literally can not use any guns at all basically if you want the final boss to not be awful, though!

i have Now... moved onto SILENT HILL 3. i was mixed on this the first time i played it but like it WAY more when it's played immediately after 1 - works way better plotwise (obviously) and has a similar gameplay style that is far easier to immediately grasp onto. also Heather owns, best SH protag

finished SILENT HILL - it's peaaaaaaaak! only complaint literally at all in this game is that sometimes i did not know what da hell to do to progress but that also spawns some extremely cool moments (hospital confusion turning into floor 4 is maybe one of the best moments in a horror game ever)
